On the transformation of epistolary novel genre in contemporary Russian literature (Mikhail Shishkin, «Letter Writing Manual»)
The paper considers the novel «Letter Writing Manual» by Mikhail Shishkin from a few points of view: how it exploits the genre of epistolary novel, how the genre is transformed in it, and what function this kind of the author’s strategy performs in the contemporary Russian literary process.
