The opposition «personal - impersonal» in the collection «Marquee» by N. S. Gumilev (the subjective aspect)

The paper deals with the subjective aspect of the realization of the value opposition «personal - impersonal» in the collection «Marquee» by N. S. Gumilev. The analysis focuses on revealing the dynamics of subject-object relations («subjective movement») and identifying the struc tural indexes of distributing the «personal» and «impersonal» positions that reflect the attitude of «the author as a concept». The specificity of the subjective organization of «Marquee» is defined by the presence of several groups of poems representing the «models» of the lyric narrator, the lyric «I» and the lyric hero. These «models» are characterized by different degrees of the manifestation of the subject's evaluation. The positive treatment of the anthropological questions is topical in the case of a greater expression of the «”I”-position» («the personal»), and the intensification of conflict component is important in the case of the prevalence of an object («the impersonal»). The variability of the subjective representation of the author’s consciousness expresses an updated vision of the problem of interaction between man and the surrounding world, marking the perspective of «spiritualizing» the objective sphere in the context of the «arising subjectivity».
