Poetic collection «The sun of heart» by Vivian Itin
The paper considers a poetic collection «The sun of heart» by Vivian Itin. It emphasizes the reminiscence spectrum of poet’s lyrics and shows the references to the texts of Gumilev, Blok, and Pushkin. It is noted that Itin regards the revolution as the event that demands the poet to demonstrate the power and courage to get involved in the new exotic world. The author indicates two «lines» in poet’s creation: his love to the past of Saint Petersburg and desire to accept the soviet existence. Special attention is paid to the Itin’s orientation towards Gumilev’s personality, fate, and creation - it is this shade that Itin brings into the Siberian creative environment. Leonid Martynov and Lidiya Seifullina called him their teacher probably because he continued the Petersburg poetic traditions among the literary men of Novosibirsk. The focus is on the avant-garde trends revealed in Itin’s poetic collection. These trends make the poet a representative of Siberian avant-garde.
