Life creativity as the basis of the cross-cultural dialogue: P. Celan is the translator of S. Yesenin’s poetry

The category of the life creativity which has arisen in the epoch of a modernist style, showed its worth most brightly in postmodernism. P. Celan who has endured a number of crucial shocks, found in the works by S.A. Yesenin a basis for a dialogue, which was embodied in his translations of S A. Yesenin’s works. The subject of the Homeland realized in an elegiac vein with the preservation of P. Celan’s original poetics became the main subject of this dialogue. The present paper is devoted to revealing the peculiarities the life creativity of both P. Celan and S. Yesenin and to their reflection in the lyrics of the Russian poet and in P. Celan’s German translations.
