The Nominative Complex of the Illuminated Manuscript Tradition
The article focuses on the specifics of the chapter nominations in the illuminated manuscript tradition, considering the original concept of the «Book of the Tikhvin Hodegetria». Three levels of the hierarchy of titles are detected, as well as their typology and different forms of representation of the icon by the means of chapter nomination.
