The paper considers the evangelisms from the New Testament parables of the Pastor and the sheep in the lexicographical aspect. Study is made of the development and modification in the significances of the lexemes пастырь, овца, стадо on the basis of the lexical entries from the historical dictionaries of the Russian language.
