The Lermontov readings - 2014 in Saint Petersburg. «Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov in the cultural context of two centuries» (S.-Petersburg: Liki Rossii, 2015. 360 p., col. ill.)

In 2014, the next scheduled anniversary Lermontov readings were organized by the Lermontov library in Saint Petersburg under the patronage of the City Committee for Culture. Following the results of the readings a collection of articles was published. It covers a wide spectrum of contemporary challenges related to the study of the poet's biography and works. Based on different methodological approaches to literary texts and the review of Lermontov’s tradition in the 19th-20th century Russian literature, new studies of the poetic manner are presented, axiological observations and comparative analyses are given, and new museum findings of Lermontov’s heritage are shown. The published materials determine new promising directions in the further study of Mikhail Lermontov’s works.
