The possibility of organising and using crowdsourcing projects in a commercial bank

Direct transformation of the needs of the real sector, due to the speed of information society development, and growth of competition from domestic and foreign banks require from credit organisations to rapidly update technologies they use. Their implementation can lead to innovative results, reduce costs, minimize the risk, develop the product line, change customer needs. Commercial banks with sufficient financial resources are able to play the role of "engine of innovation" among other domestic companies. Experience of some domestic credit institutions (Sberbank, Alfa-Bank, VTB Bank) is an example of effective innovation. In particular, Sberbank is one of the first companies to introduce innovative forms of activity unique not only in domestic, but also in foreign practice. We are talking about using the crowdsourcing technologies in this credit institution. Crowdsourcing is a technology of involving many people to work together through computer networks, of giving certain production functions to the indefinite number of persons on the basis of a public offer. The new and promising model of collective interaction can be described as meritosourcing (''meritus'' - decent, ''sourcing'' - the selection of resources). Meritosourcing is an approach to the generation of ideas and solutions by professional societies based on a particular methodology and special technologies, aiming at the development of the existing and new products and services that improve the lives of employees, customers and society as a whole. Meritosourcing involves the transfer of functions to the most dignified, professional workers, united in an interactive network. This approach requires the creation of an appropriate IT platform, formation of a system of precise selection among professionals, introduction of individual activity ratings, and specific motivation of participants, because it strengthens the role of the highest level of employee motivation - through self-realisation and self-improvement. An IT platform can be a specially created site based on the most popular social networks (www.facebook.com, www.vk.com,www.yammer.com etc.). Implementation of meritosourcing will achieve the following objectives. In working with clients their demands will be addressed in developing products and services; respectively, their loyalty will grow. In financial results through the implementation of ideas revenues will increase, costs will reduce. In the area of process improvement effective optimisation tools can be used, less time will be required for problem solution. In the area of employee culture changes a corporate culture of cooperation will be established, opportunities for professional development and personal growth will be provided, expert communities will be formed.
