Synthetic language personality in the instrumental rock text

By synthetic language personality (SLP) we mean a specific kind of semiotic, discursive language personality that is realized within synthetic texts of different types (song text, rock text, cinema text, theatre text, etc.) which, in their turn, create and organize the discourse "corporal tissue". The external, formal SLP structure is determined by the properties of the synthetic text in the framework of which it is functioning. If we are talking of the mechanisms of SLP internal organization, it should be mentioned that regardless of the type of synthetic text within which the SLP is realized, its internal structure does not change and consists of three principal levels: 1) lingual and semiotic; 2) cognitive and pragmatic; 3) associative and interpretative. In the scope of this material we consider peculiarities of SLP functioning within instrumental synthetic rock text, so we confine ourselves to enumerate the basic levels of SLP external structure that are relevant to this type of synthetic text. In the context of song rock text, SLP includes four main components: 1) verbal, 2) articulatory, 3) music, 4) image. Keeping in mind the pronounced goal, these are music and verbal SLP components that form the core of our study. The instrumental type of synthetic text generates interest due to the following reasons: firstly, within its structure, a specific, conditionally "incomplete", reduced SLP type is realized, and its key tissue is represented by the music component; secondly, this is a type of synthetic text and as a result SLP is widely present in the Russian rock. In the Russian rock history, SLP model with a conditionally zero level of verbalization holds a specific position and requires a separate study. This material puts a special emphasis on peculiarities of SLP functioning within so-called "absolute" instrumental synthetic rock text. We will consider specific features of instrumental compositions of this type by example of the tracks with zero verbalization which are present in the album World Number Zero by the band DDT.
