Communication standards of cognitive resonance intensity
The ability of communication channels of perception to initiate cognitive responses of different intensity was researched. The cognitive resonance hierarchy of these channels (taste, tactile touch, smell, hearing, sight, live language, language of music, language of graphic images, language of numbers, language of concepts (words) and language of empty words) was identified. Each of its levels, from the very top, reflects a steady decline in the ability of the channel to initiate intensive responses of consciousness. A different resonant property of the channels is largely determined by the properties of cognitive protection that optimizes the information load on the central nervous system through prioritizing not only ontological phenomena, but also communication channels. It turns out to be the least effective against high resonance channels, allowing them to quickly activate the mind. Although the protection properties are closely related to the properties of the channel, at the level of individuals, they may not coincide with the average standard, which manifests itself in the types of consciousness with leading visual, auditory or tactile perception. These types of consciousness do not deny the hierarchy, but point to the fact that its information levels may have different effects on the rate of cognitive reactions of specific people, giving them a competitive advantage. This feature is apparently due to the fact that different sections of the brain of people who work with visual, tactile or auditory channels may contain a different number of neurons, which makes them dissimilar not only functionally, but also in terms of needs in cognitive protection. It is shown that the leading position in the hierarchy is occupied by the channels that 1) are better suited for working with a dynamic component of reality and, in particular, with the most active forms of motion influencing the vital processes of the body; 2) have a smaller radius of practical steps; 3) are often combined with other channels. These channels are more noticeable, more actively "awake" consciousness, often contribute to a deeper understanding of the subject matter and memory. However, they will tire the mind, which can shorten the time of their continuous contact with it. Less resonant channels have the following features: 1) they transmit large amounts of information; 2) they cover more sources of information, as they have a great practical radius of action; 3) they focus mainly on the signals of static objects of reality. These channels are less visible, more dependent on the imagination of the subject of communication; they slower tire the nervous system and prolong contact with it.
