Peculiarities of composing art formation in Khakassia, a national region of Southern Siberia
This article describes the features of formation of composing in one of the national regions of South Siberia, Khakassia, in 19651985. The author grounds a position that Russian composers stimulated the development of professional musical creativity of the Khakases. This feature prevailed in the following years, especially during the construction of the musical infrastructure in the 19501960s. At that time, in the national regions of Siberia children's music schools were built, music schools were opened, amateur artistic groups appeared, future local composers received profile conservatory education, mainly in large Siberian cities. The national regions of southern Siberia, including Khakassia, had no local branch of the Union of Composers of the RSFSR until the early 1990s. That is why the first Khakas composers were registered in the regional offices of the Union of Composers of the RSFSR in Siberia. Necessary assistance, advice on music was conducted by members of the Siberian Branch of the Composers' Union of the RSFSR. Each national region of southern Siberia had their own appointed professional musicians assisting them. The first feature of the formation of composing in Khakassia was focus on the professional development of Khakas folklore. One of the first members of the creative, musical intelligentsia of Khakassia who studied folklore was A.A. Kenel. He defined the direction in Khakas music, contributed to Khakas folk songs, laid the foundation for the organization of research in the field of professional musical culture in Khakassia. The next feature of formation of compositional creativity in Khakassia in 1965-1985 is its focus on the reconstruction of the model of the Soviet mass song which was the basis of the repertoire of amateur music groups. Amateur performances encouraged the creative work of composers. As a rule, amateur groups gave start to music careers of all composers of the time. They were called "composers-melodists" or "composers-songwriters". These were G. Chelborakov, N. Kataeva and others. Thus, in the conditions of the little number of national artistic intellectuals, being at the junction of amateur and professional art, the most representative sectors of the creative work of local composers were singing and choral genres representing the musical culture of the Siberian province.
