The relevance of the pedagogical views of K.E. Tsiolkovsky in the light of further modernization of education in Russia

A characteristic feature of the present stage of renovation of the educational process is to focus on the maximum individualization support development of students, which is reflected in the Concept of modernization of additional education of children of the Russian Federation until 2020 and other fundamental documents of the educational policy of Russia. One of the conditions that can provide self-development of students is additional education of children. Analysis of the characteristics and aspects of additional education for children helps to realize its value as a unique and competitive social practice of increasing the motivational potential of a person and the innovative potential of society. Additional education of children becomes an innovative platform for developing educational models and technologies of the future, and personalization of additional education is defined as a leading trend in the development of education in the 21st century. Speaking about the educational technologies of the future, one cannot ignore the ideas of the great teacher, scientist, inventor Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, who left his descendants valuable pedagogical ideas that can be translated into innovative educational practice. The ideas of anthropocentrism penetrate the works of K.E. Tsiolkovsky. The philosophical foundations and essence of anthropoentrism can be represented in the following postulates: - cosmism as a principle underlying the world view allows considering everything happening in the world in close connection with the cosmic processes; -declaration of interdependence of man and the cosmos; - leading idea of unity of moral union of man, humanity and the universe; -consideration of spiritual and moral education as a condition for the cultivation of a citizen of the universe; - declaration of man as a rational and creative creature which in the universe is a force capable of transforming nature and impacting the dynamics of cosmic evolution on the basis of reason and morality; - giving a person a self-creating function; - definition of creativity and self-development as the most important factors of evolution designed to lead the world towards perfection and harmony; - the leading problem in cosmic education is creating conditions to make a person highly intelligent and moral, therefore, more perfect and happy. K.E. Tsiolkovsky's ideas on educating a "perfect person" are in line with modern ideas of children's additional education modernization in Russia: - creating an environment and motivation for nurturing a reasonable person eager to learn, capable of active transforming activity based on the highest morality of oneself, the Earth, and the Cosmos (the world); - ensuring free self-cognition and creative self-expression of a person; developing a congruent person ready to self-acceptance and self-forecasting; - prioritizing the spiritual and moral development of a person; - ensuring the balanced development of a child; - creating conditions for educational support of children; - considering individual psychological characteristics of personality and age, and others. Today, K.E. Tsiolkovsky's ideas of cosmic education can be implemented in the system of additional cosmic education that combines the variability of additional education and philosophical foundations of a student-centered educational process. Pedagogical views of K.E. Tsiolkovsky are not only theoretically orderly postulates, but also have a real embodiment in the educational practices of organizations of additional education, pre-school educational institutions and schools.
