Support of self-education of students in additional education
A characteristic feature of the present stage of education innovation is the orientation on the maximum individualization of child support under the guidance of a teacher, a psychologist. This approach is implemented by creating children's development trajectories, individual educational routes and educational programs. In this regard, educational institutions of all types and species pay special attention to the targeted creation of developing environments designed to achieve results and effects in the personal, social and intellectual development of today's children and adolescents. The Concept of Modernization of Russian Education, adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation, sets top targets; their reaching requires an adequate support system. In psychology, the process of complete emancipation of the individual, which provides the free manifestation of the "I", is one of the mechanisms of self-development. It is personification of the individual (R. Assagioli, P. Ferutto, T. Youmens, M. Crampton et al.). Today, additional education organizations have opportunities for supporting the self-development of children of different ages. Such institutions have flexibility and variability of the educational process arrangement and provide opportunities for the manifestation of the individuality of each child in the selection of activities, creative association, methods and means of instruction and a teacher. The article deals with the issue of supporting the self-development of children of primary school age in a children's additional education organization. The author's projects are presented: the scheme of self-development for a child of primary school age by an adaptive variant; the scheme of forming the self-development vector of a young schoolchild; the model of supporting a child of primary school age in an additional education organization. The latter is being tested on the basis of the Children and Youth Space Education Center "Galaxy" in the city of Kaluga. The study is based on the ideas of psychologist VI. Slobodchikov about the formation of self-discovery and self-development with age. The proposed model of supporting a child of primary school age in an additional education organization can be widely used in educational practice of both non-formal and formal education, with the necessary adjustment of the content in accordance with the tasks of support.
