On deed, will and will expression
The topicality of the article can be explained by the increased interest to the verity problem in the Russian philosophical environment and a certain meaning of the considered concept to the Russian culture. The goal of the article is to establish the parameters of the ratio of the human idea of the proper and their free will. The author solves the question of whether the emergence of verity in human life is caused by spontaneous or other external factors or is an exclusive manifestation of human will. For reaching this goal the article aims to conduct a brief analysis of will and will expression value as the driving force of human acts with regard to a person's choice of its being basis including verity. The common methodological basis of the article is the dialectic method due to which verity and deed are presented as whole formations consisting of interconnected parts and also the structural and functional method which implies the consideration of each of the specified concepts as some integrity which has a complex structure with specific elements. The article considers M.M. Bakhtin's views on the concept of deed which he defines not from its goals point of view but as the way of human life existence. Bakhtin claims the factuality, singleness of deed implying the right to a mistake and expressing but one verity that is verity of the acting person. Bakhtin's theory includes his avowal of person's absolute autonomy and freedom. Then the author expresses and proves his disagreement with Bakhtin's point of view on the exclusively descriptive role of deed and its neutrality as such. A person is constantly accompanied by a possibility of a false interpretation of themselves and their place in the world, unauthenticity, unverity that can lead to an admission of a relative verity. Verity ontologically precedes committed righteous deeds as verity is primary in comparison with its manifestations. In this context verity is not being but its basis. Any private, objectified being always contains a lie, and only authentic being possesses verity as a decisive reason for deeds. Through implementation of the verity potency, a deed actively actualizes verity and being but does not cancel them. As a form of verity in being, the instrument of its embodiment is conscience which always provides information about authentic being. An a priori value of conscience is in apparent dissonance with the previously reviewed Bakhtin's "personalism" that articulates in person's absolute autonomy and freedom of choice. The study of the above-mentioned questions makes the author come to a conclusion that verity is not an innate behavior attribute, it is not caused by exclusively external factors but always requires a conscious choice, will expression.
