The vector of methodology modification: convergence of socio-humanitarian knowledge with post-non-classics
The article is devoted to the analysis of the modification of the post-non-classical methodology taking into account the convergence of different types of knowledge. The main goal is to show the advantages of using the post-nonclassical conceptual apparatus as a universal methodological resource for studying the acute problems of our time. The author suggests distinguishing between the “strong” and “weak” versions of convergence and identifies the problems of interdisciplinary synthesis. Attention is paid to the design of “a new managerialism” (R. Deem), which assigns to itself functions of the organization of cross-disciplinary interaction. The focus is shifted to the expansion of modern methodology, which allows us to distinguish post-nonclassical concepts of the “first” and “second” waves. The author describes such concepts of post-nonclassical methodology as complexity, emergence, enactivism, recursiveness, fractality, autopoiesis and reveals their methodological potential and systemic relationship. The concept “complexity” (E. Moren; K. Mainzer) reflects the leading tendency of the modern time. The phenomenon of intellectual initiative (St. Toulmin) is a new object of methodological reflection. It generates programs of individual activity and is assessed as a matrix element of transformations. It implicitly contains the energetic projection of a person, extends the boundaries of the existing situation and points to the alternative scenarios of the future. Developing this idea, the author raises the question of modern modifications of subjectivity. The person of a global world does not think of himself out of large-scale technical technological support, out of information communications. At the same time the analysis shows that human nature is undergoing transformations due to the penetration of positive and negative trends of nano-, bio-, info- and cognitive technologies in all the spheres of the lifeworld. First, it fixes the helplessness of a mass person before the onslaught of high technologies. Second, human subordination to Internet networks becomes apparent. Under the press of information technology, the conceptual structure of thinking is supplanted by the clip-art one. The problem of the impact of information technology on the human brain is acute. And, finally, the new identity of a “knowledge-worker” which depersonalizes the scholar’s contribution is actively formed. A new wave of negative selection is recorded, suggesting an outflow and “mobbing” of established scholars, ignoring “key disciplinary figures”. It is worth highlighting that modernity should rely on the subjectivity of professionals. The article concludes that the most important purpose of convergence is anthropological perspective. Social and humanitarian knowledge provides transmission of human experience, enriching the person with meaningful landmarks.
