The philosophy of early Wittgenstein: the conflict of interpretations
The philosophy of early Wittgenstein: the conflict of interpretations. The article is concerned with attempts of analytical philosophers to outline views of early Wittgenstein strictly within limits of either metaphysics or transcendental philosophy. Author offers an interpretation, which is first of all based on the new philosophical experience, the one connected with the logical analysis of structure of language. It takes into account the methodological principles based on the autonomy of logic and demonstrates, that an understanding of early Wittgenstein depends upon selecting from two possible points of view. The first gives priority to the transcendental component of his philosophy, and represents an attempt to conceptualize the theoretical region and to deconceptualize the practical region. The second emphasizes metaphysical component and understands it in terms of impersonal representation of world.
