Modeling of shared memory two-processors computer systems
A model is proposed which describes the influence of depth of non-blocking cache on operational characteristics of twoprocessorscomputer systems with shared memory. Operation of hierarchical memory is described by two-staged pipeline. The firststage performs access to cache, and the second, in case failure, performs access to operational memory. The operations of the secondstage are modeled by Markovs system featuring multi-staged service and discrete timing.
