Phenomenological sociology and urbanity

This article deals with the possibility of Application of the Phenomenology Principles to the Research of a City as Socio-Cultural Phenomenon. At the beginning of the article the reasons andtasks of Phenomenological Analysis of the City are determined. Then the specific features of the Object and the Subject of the PhenomenologicalSociology of the City are analyzed. The specific features of the phenomenological perception of the city environment, city imageas the structure of perception and behavior, specific peculiarities of methods of their investigation arc discussed as well.
