Apokalyptical myth in Russian prose of 1920-30-s (E. Zaniyalin, M. Bulgakov, A. Platonov)

This article is devoted to the structure and functions of the Christian apocalyptical myth about Antichrist's birth and hiscoming into the historical arena that is reconceived in the works by E. Zamyatin (short stories of the 1920s, a novel «We»), M. Bulgakov (anovel «The Heart of a Dog»), A. Platonov (a novel «The Foundation Pit»). The paradigm of the apocalyptical myth that exists in the texts helpsto clear up the authors' points of view and to find out the Christian concept of the world and history that is typical for them.
