Romantic esthetics and poetics as the subject of M M. Baktin's reflection

Inthe article the statements of M. M. Bahtin to the questions of romantic aesthetic and poetic are systemated. The autor distinguishs threeperiods of scholar's work. At the first period Bahtin reflects on the typology of the romantic hero and the relation between the autor bythe romantic's, to the historical roman of Walter Scott, to the process of romanisation of the romanic genres (poem and drama) and tothe creation works of W.A. Jukovsky. At the third period the creation works of F.M. Dostoyevsky are situated at the centre of the attention.and here the romantic culture as the culture of monological type is constrasted to the dialogical poetic of the russian romanist.
