Organization of learning proccss through argumentative discussion: cognitive aspects

The goal of this research is to study argumentative discourse structure and its evolution in connection with thecritical thinking strategies applied for the interpretation of factual information and authorial intentions. The assumption is that in con-structing verbal argumentative discourse conversational arguments and structural organization of the argumentative discourse dependon critical thinking strategies due to certain cognitive mechanisms. The results of the study offer insight toward the manner in whichpeople process conversational arguments and how it affects the learning process.
