The estimation of the dead time period and parameters of the asynchronous alternating event flow with extra event initiation
The problem of parameters estimationof the asynchronous alternating double stochastic event flow with extra event initiation being mathematical model of elementaryparticles flows (photons, electrons etc.) getting to the registering devices is considered. The conditions of flow observation are those,that each registered event generates the period of dead time, during which other events are not available for observation. The case ofunprolonging dead time is being investigated, the duration of dead time is constant. The probabilities density of an interval betweenneighbor events of an observable flow is being found. At known parameters of the event flow the maximum likelihood estimation of thedead time period is being found. At unknown parameters of the event flow (with use of the moments method) the expressions for theestimations of parameters of the event flow and the equation for dead time period estimation are being found.
