Representation of a set of texts in a relation database for the purposes of linguistic analysis

The possibilities are considered of the use of a control system of database (CSD) as an instrument for thestudy of texts. The structure of the text database is described. It is shown that the efficiency of obtaining different quantitative characteristicsof the text by means of the CSD is essentially greater in comparison with the algorithms based on the direct analysis of text files.
