Theosophical movement in the light of gender research: stating of the problem
The article is devoted to the studying of the problem how the theosophical movement has come into existence. The role of women in the formation of the theosophical outlook is also investigated. H.P. Blavatsky, a founder of the theosophical society, a famous writer, a philosopher and a mysterious person is in the centre of investigated. Her life greatly defined the further direction of theosophical development including a new way of understanding a role of women in different social and historical realities of this or that time.
