The paper is devoted to an actual problem of choice of effective ways of training of youth under the conditions of globalization of educational space, necessity of its integration and preservation of originality of national system. By the example of modernization of the Japanese education system the role of school in the formation of high motivation of a child to the studies as a valuable basis of successful development of person and society as a whole is considered. The analysis of modern education system in Japan and its basic structural parts is provided.
