Siberia as an evacuation centre of archival documents during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945)

Measures in a field of evacuation of archival documents and organization of work of evacuated archives in Siberia during the Great Patriotic War are analyzed in the article. It is also about data of volume and character of archival documents evacuated in Siberia from frontier areas and occupied European and Far-Eastern country areas, and also central state and departmental archives of the USSR. The article is written on the basis of sources gathered together by the author in central and Siberian archives of Russia.
