Development of the ecological network of Khakassia Republic on the example of the Shira area

Khakassia is situated in the south of the Middle Siberia, in the center of the Altai-Sayan mountain system. It is included in the list of especially valuable natural territories of the Earth. The natural, historical and cultural wealth of this Republic should be preserved. It can be made by providing the appropriate protection of natural complexes. The creation of a high-grade ecological network is proposed in the Shira area, as the well studied region, covering the significant territory of the Khakassia Republic. Such network will provide the long-term preservation of biovariety and steady development of not only the Shira area, but the Republic in the whole.
