Humus composition and Modern Mountain soil properties of southern part of peninsula Korea
There have been investigated humus composition and the basic soil properties, formed on different absolute heights in mountain areas of South Korea. It is shown, that as a whole soils are characterized by acid reaction of medium, low capacity of cation exchange (CEC), prevalence over a soil absorbing complex (SAK) of calcium, fulvic or humic-fulvic humus type, a high share of brown humus acids in its composition and also connected change of the Clot. and Cha:Cfa within the limits of each mountain.
