Forming the Cultural Code for '20* Century Knighthood'
The clubs of King Arthur's Knights influenced the essence and the style of an older generation's work with American youth from (circa) 1895 and into the 20century. Analyzed here are the writings of William Byron Forbush, the founder of Magnificent Knights of Castle of Character and related works of G. Stanley Hall and Albert Louis Banks. These stimulated complex activities of the young aimed at America's acquisition of the Matter-of-Britain myth and helped form the concept of 20 century knighthood.
