Technological innovations and structural transformation of domestic industry
The paper deals with the issue of technological innovations and their effect on structural changes in the industry. Causes of poor performance achieved by innovative industry are analysed as well as tools and methods, which enable us to create the right environment for businesses to introduce technological innovations. The paper outlines main government policies necessary for structural changes in the industry, first of all in machine building, to take place.
