Role of the metaphor in philosophical communication is considered in the article. In this connection are researched particularities of the using the metaphors in philosophical communication. The metaphor allows getting to know directly not observed reality. Thereby, object of philosophy is fixed in language and becomes available to perception and following comprehension.
