The professors and the teachers of Tomsk University and Tomsk Technological Institute in the conditionsof an opposition between the authorities and students at the end of XIX - beginning of XX century

The article is devoted to the description of the position of the professors of Tomsk University and Tomsk Technological Institute during the intensification of the students' movement at the end of ХIХ -beginning of ХХ century. The basic attention is paid to the description of pressure, which was put on the university teachers by the authorities and students. As a result common problems influenced the fact that the professors supported the students' movement in many respects
