Interaction of the lyric-epic and drama elements in the final part of the Second string quartet by D.D. Shostakovich
In the article the author considers variation form on the example of the final part of the Second string quartet by D.D. Shostakovich. The article presents a new approach to the analysis of variations, which are represented in the Second quartet. The aim of the work is to examine the musical manner of the fourth part of this quartet's cycle as a system, in which lyric-epic and drama elements interact.
