Mineralogical composition of the main soil types of Central Yakutia
The analysis of mineralogical soil composition and estimation of their relative quantitative content according to T.A. Sokolova's method have been made. Soil sampling was taken from three sections within a 30-kilometer site of the soil-plant catena put near Yakutsk within the mid-taiga subzone in frozen-taiga area of the boreal belt of East Siberia. Patterns of distribution of minerals along the soil profile in the investigated catena of Central Yakutia Plain have been determined with interpretation of the results received.
