Jordan in the Middle Eastern Policy of the United States and Great Britain in 1957-1958

The role of Jordan in the plans of the Middle Eastern diplomacy of the U.S.A. and Great Britain after the Suez crisis is researched in the article. Despite of the reduction of British presence in the Middle East and the termination of Anglo-Jordan Treaty of 1948, Jordan still saved its important place in the policy of Great Britain in the Middle East. The United Kingdom tried to change the sceptical approach of the U.S. toward future of Jordan
