Organizational and technical level of the enterprise as a source of competitive advantage gain

Creating a competitiveenterprise is the process of achieving market leadership at least in one important aspect of industrial activity. This requires a cleardefinition and effective use of the competitive advantages that would achieve this goal and to which attention should be paid first. Realopportunities to improve competitiveness are factors in the internal environment. The central idea is the concept of enterprise as a totalof resources, which are used to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. The analysis of the situation at enterprises of mechanicalengineering shows that the factors that reduce competitiveness often are: outdated equipment and technology, lack of qualified personnel,lack of rational organization of production. It should be noted that the specificity of engineering production does not allow companiesto achieve high industry's competitive position in the absence of sufficient organizational and technical level, since the productionof technically sophisticated products of high quality and competitiveness with low-level technology and organization of production isnot possible. Since most of these factors form the organizational and technical level of production, then, in our opinion, it is the mainsource of competitive advantages of machine-building enterprises. With funding deficit, improving organizational and technical level isa priority of the engineering enterprise aimed at obtaining competitive advantage of high order, and competitiveness of the enterprise ingeneral. Understanding the special value of high organizational and technical level to ensure the competitiveness of the company allowsorienting ones choice to a strategy for further development, which will be aimed at improving the strategically most important, in termsof achieving certain competitive advantages, factors of organizational and technical level. At the same time at the stage of choosing thepath of strategic business development it is necessary to analyse the current state of the external and internal factors and determinethe influence of individual indicators of organizational and technical level of the final (integral) indicator of competitiveness. This factoranalysis determines the aspects of the organizational and technical level of enterprises, which have the greatest impact on competitivenessas a whole, i.e. they are the source of the most significant competitive advantage. This approach makes it possible to orient theirchoices to the optimal strategy for further development of the company, which will be aimed at improving the most strategically important,in terms of achieving certain competitive advantages, factors of organizational and technical level. This allows the enterprise toachieve the intended purpose, not wasting money.
