The use of HRV analysis to assess the students functional state
To determine the functional state of students engaged in athleticspecialty, "bodybuilding", using experimental techniques parenting qualities of power and endurance were monitored using an automatedcardiorythmographic complex ECG-trigger-MCA-02 on indicators of heart rate at rest and during performance of the activewedge-orthostatic test. First-year students were tested as an experimental group (bodybuilding specialization, the main medical group, n= 60). The control group consisted of female students enrolled for the technology of general physical training (n = 60). When analysingthe results of the background sample (analysis of heart rate variability in the state of relative rest) statistically significant differencesbetween the indices of the cardiovascular system in representatives of the experimental and control groups were not observed. Duringthe 3-year cycle of training the experimental group did not reveal negative trend indicators of the functional state, all the calculated indicesare within normal limits, there is a higher level of activity of the parasympathetic autonomic nervous system and low level of thesympathetic one. The initial autonomic tone (ICT) is characterized by rhythmologic performance in the period of relative calm in thehorizontal position of the patient and is measured at the background strain index. ICT of the 2-3-year students of the experimental grouprepresented different states: the freshmen's ICT was in the form vagotonia (42%), atonia (40%), sympathicotonia (9%) and hypersympathicotonia(9%). The 3-year students showed no hypersympathicotonia, and the group with atonia amounted to 62%. Autonomic reactivityin the experimental group is represented by different states: the 1-year students observed mainly normotonic reaction; the 3-yearstudents had asympathicotonic reaction (48%). Vegetative maintenance of activities is assessed as adequate, excessive and insufficient, the trends have been reported. Thus, changes in the functional state of students in the experimental group were revealed, indicating thatthe beneficial effect of training at the technology program "bodybuilding" using experimental techniques, parenting qualities of powerand endurance.
