Type and genre of The Dictionary of Variational Lexis of Siberian Patois
For further development of variantology as one of the priorities of modern linguisticsvarious sources are needed of. In this regard, creation of different (according to material, volume, lexicographic principles, and otherparameters) dictionaries of variant type seems topical. The factual basis of the theory of identity and variation of words expands TheDictionary of Variational Lexis of Siberian Patois created by the author of the article. It focuses on the most complete description ofmaterial of different character (structural, semantic and stylistic, socio-functional, statistical) ranging the lexical subsystem of dialects ofthe modern Russian language. The dictionary gives an opportunity to objectify the formal variation of dialect words as a multidimensionalformation, to demonstrate its peculiarities in the modern Russian patois. This dictionary is a combination of theoretical and formalmodels of category variability in dialectal language, as it is the practical realization of the authors concept of identity and the modificationof words. In terms of type and genre features, The Dictionary is characterized by a set of peculiarities: one-dialect, microsystemic(the dictionary of old dialect of the village Vershinino, Tomsk region); usual (in comparison with idiolect dictionaries); word dictionary(fundamental unit of lexicography is a word not a phrase, collocation, etc.); non-differential (combines words of different categories,natural to the speech of dialectal native speakers: all-Russian, dialect-vernacular, simply dialect); simultaneous, modern (includes variantformations, which function in the Russian dialect of the second half of the 20th century); private (represents part of the lexis usage);system, variant; semasiological; linguistic explanatory and aspect; descriptive; linguocentric (compare with anthropocentric dictionaries);in the order of the position of material: formal, alphabetically ordered, linear. The lexicographic type and genre of The Dictionaryof Variational Lexis of Siberian Patois is defined by phonetic-grammar, interpretational, pragmatic, exemplary and other parameters ofthe macro-and micro composition. Thus, being a one-parameter dictionary it refers to a type of dictionaries very rare in the dialect lexicography- the system one. Accordingly, this dictionary can be compared, for example, with The Motivational Dictionary of SiberianPatois, which reflects another type of systemic relations in the lexis - motivational. As to genre relations, dictionary of variant formationsis a new dictionary that shows relations within a word, primarily, in terms of expression. These relations are common for the folkspoken (dialectal) speech.
