Development of spatial lexical-semantic paradigms in the vocabulary of old-residents dialect in Western Siberia
The article studies spatial lexical-semanticparadigms in the history of Russian old-residents dialect in Western Siberia (Tomsk dialect is taken as a model). The semantic developmentof lexical units in such lexical-semantic paradigms is considered as reflection of the process of forming of Russians ideas ofSiberian lands they developed. Dialectics of diachronic and synchronic approaches to the analysis of language facts is expressed by thestudy of dynamic semantic processes of four hundred years up to the present, and also by attentive and systematic interpretation of themodern state of historically changing lexical units and their mutual relations. Methods of research are historical-culturological and systemic-structural analyses of lexical units in Tomsk business written monuments of the 17th-20th centuries. The article defines the structureof lexical units елань, поле, луг, кулига, et alias in every significant period of Tomsk dialect history and clarifies the changes inthese sememes. The way of forming their paradigmatic relations is also explained. In the materials under analysis these spatial lexicalunits are used as a part of topical rows (поле - пашня, поскотина, огород, сад, et alias; елань - земля, место, лес, просека, пашня,болото, луг, and so on); synonymic rows (поле - пашня; елань - еланное место; луг - луговое место). We also note subsumptionrelations: земля - еланное место and елань, and so on. In the making of the lexical system of the Siberian dialect antonymic relationsare formed: поле - огород, поле - сад, еланное место - луг. The fulfilled analysis shows that the systemic semantic relations had beenforming during the entire history of the Siberian dialect and took shape close to the modern one in the second half of the 17th-19th centuries. The changes in meaning or paradigmatic relations of one unit provoked shifts in the whole lexical-semantic paradigm. In themodern Tomsk dialect the lexical units елань, поле, луг, кулига are representative for the semantic field угодье and make up a lexicalsemanticparadigm characterized by subsumptive, synonymic and antonymic relations. It is established that both common-Russian(поле, луг) and dialectic (елань, кулига) lexical units undergo semantic changes because they have formed and still make up a singlelexical system of the Tomsk dialect. The vocabulary of modern Tomsk dialect conveys a specific (regional) picture of the world in thesystematic relations already established.
