Modern approaches to integration process management in higher education
Reforms in the system of higher professional education relate to moving to a newlevel of socio-economic development. Innovative economy considers higher professional education institutions as basic elements of the Nationaleconomic system. They have the potential of providing multiplicative knowledge increment and are oriented towards individualizationand continuity of knowledge, and commercialisation of intellectual property. A modern form of integration interaction between subjects ofeducation-science-business activities needs to be developed for creating the intersection area where interests of the national innovationsystem cross to ultimately satisfy current needs and provide the synergetic effect. The authors approach to systematisation of the maincharacteristics of modern economy proves the necessity to establish a new paradigm of its development, and to define its features. Theparadigm would be based on intensification of integration in the education-science-business system. Integration of science, educationand business causes formation of mutually complementary resources and competences base, activities, solutions, and resource and informationflows synchronization, eventually leading to creating a system with higher stability and efficiency of functioning and development. Two main integration options were revealed from defining the nature and content of integration processes in consideration ofprofessional education development and current transformation processes in the economy: classic integration and quasi integration.Classic integration means total property and united asset management control. Quasi integration implies behaviour control over formallyindependent organizations without any control over their property. Analysis of various approaches to researching the integration processesin economy allowed to reveal the main forms and features of classic and quasi integration, and peculiarities in their application, and to argue the possibility of their development. Each option implies that relations between business entities change over time with theintegration process, and mutually complementary resources and key competences are being coordinated and used in the sequel. It isdefined that quasi integration must become the most distributed in higher professional education system subject to the requirements ofinnovative economy. This means that organized collaboration of all the subjects united with common objectives for their activities becomesthe backbone factor. Along with that, co-operator organizations acting as partners stay legally independent while striving forassigned objectives in joint projects that require consolidation of resources and key competences of each player.
