Synergy in culture
Based on previously produced studies, the article suggests the following definition of synergy. Synergy is a combined action, the interaction of different potencies or energies that are directed to the ideal, and to producing the synergetic effect. Various approaches of understanding culture are analyzed in order to answer the questions of if it is possible to talk about synergy in culture, and what conditions are necessary for the existence of synergy in culture. In this context culture is defined as the transformation of the individual and the society in the implementation of cultural and creative activity on the basis of spiritual and moral religious views. Recognising synergy as a form of dialectics and considering the connection of dialectics and culture, the article makes an assumption, according to which it is possible to speak of synergetic development as of a form of dialectical development of culture. Since synergy is a process, the article outlines the necessary conditions for the implementation of this process. According to the definition of synergy, one of its features is the interaction of the opposites. In culture one can consider internal and external interactions. The ideal types of interaction of cultures are: dialogue, synnecrosis, assimilation, unilateral influence, transformation, concurrency, and mutual isolation, etc. But the article only deals with synergetic interaction characterized by a joint, cooperative, coordinated interaction of different potencies or energies. Therefore, the first condition of synergetic interaction in culture is the dialogic, cooperative interaction of different, even contradictory, activities and ideals. The analysis of culture in terms of the nuclear spherical concept allowed defining the "hard core" and the "protective belt" in culture. The core of culture ensures its stability, hardiness, conservatism. The Hesychast tradition recognizes the divine nature and divine energies inseparable from it as a "hard core". The second condition of synergy in culture is the presence of a "hard core" connected with the ideal of deification, which means the possibility of a person to become the God by the grace under synergy. A person joins Divine Energies in the process of synergy, and begins to change the world like God. Therefore, the third condition of synergy in culture is the synergetic effect. Synergetic effect shows in human creativity. In such a manner, in this article the terms of synergy in culture are determined, namely, the dialogic interaction of different types of activities and different ideals of cultural orientation to the higher absolute ideal, transformation of people and the world.
