The Additive Fabrication Technology is a peer-reviewed research journal. Its purpose consists in highlighting and summarizing scientific achievements in the field of fundamental research, applied development, as well as application of additive fabrication technologies and pressure die casting of powder materials for advanced industries: prototyping, aerospace, automobile and mechanical engineering, metallurgy, medicine (prosthetics), construction.
Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education National Research Tomsk State University and OOO "MIG" are the journal founders.
Siberian Center for Industrial Design and Prototyping provided support for the journal's creation in 2019.
