Evaluation of the short-term effect of underwater welding nanoparticles on the Arca boucardi bivalve mollusk

Underwater welding is widely used in the docking of underwater gas pipelines and underwater construction. Many powder wires for underwater welding and cutting include harmful and dangerous compounds that can have a negative impact on marine flora and fauna. This work is devoted to the first attempt to determine the level of negative impact of underwater welding particles on the Arca boucardi marine mollusk living in the Sea of Japan during short-term cultivation. The article contains 4 Figures, 4 Tables and 13 References. The authors are grateful to the staff of the FEFU Center for Shared Use and the DVGI Center for Shared Use for the provided scientific equipment and express their gratitude to the specialists of the SibNSKhB, a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Scientific Research, State Public Library for Science and Technology, for their assistance in working with the literature. The Authors declare no conflict of interest.
