ALLIO MICRODICTYON - POPULETUM TREMULAE - NEW ASSOCIATIONOF ASPEN FORESTS FROM NORTH-EASTERN PART OF KEMEROVO REGION
Forest vegetation of the north-eastern part of Kemerovo region that is rather weaklydescribed in scientific literature was studied. New plant association belonging toQuerco-Fagetea class and Fagetalia sylvaticae ordung, was described in the northeasternpart of Kemerovo region. The association includes aspen forests whose floristiccomposition intermediates between plain subtaiga forests and low mountain forests.Well-developed tall forbs cover and the presence of a few mountain species significantlydiffer these forests from the previously described plain subtaiga forests. New associationcommunities of have definite position in relief. They are situated between relatively flatwatersheds which probably were occupied by coniferous forests before and the bottomsof galleys and depressions covered by wet birch forests. Forest habitats are characterizedby moist, rich and well-drained soils. Based on the analysis of floristic compositionsyntaxonomical position and connections with surrounding vegetation types are discussed. The main conclusion was made about sustainability and successional longevity ofthese forest communities.
