Criminal records system and its application in the investigation of crimes

Investigation of crimes often involves using various information systems that record certain aspects of social relations. It is possible that the vast amount of recorded data will contain the item of forensic relevance for the preliminary investigation. To date, the forensic technology developed and implemented a science-based record and registration system for data significant for the investigation. Its use is allowed in the production of any category of cases in greater or lesser extent. The existing fixed classification of criminal records requires limited modifications, in particular, it seems necessary to rename "investigative records" by "records of objects of investigation". Data from the mentioned resources are relevant to establish the criminal, to bring a version of the involvement of a person in a crime, to confirm a reasonable assumption and to identify other circumstances of forensic importance. However, it has the potential of being an evidence in a criminal case and focusing the competent authorities on the achievement of the purposes of law enforcement.
