The various ways of implementing this tactical technique are shown during the interrogation of the suspect (the accused), the most effective concept of its use is proposed. An investigative situation created by an investigator of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Novosibirsk Oblast using evidence as a reagent is demonstrated and analyzed. During the study, an in-depth study of the tactical technique with a demonstration of its effectiveness in the course of law enforcement has been made. This technique is used not only for obtaining formal evidence that will form the basis of the prosecution, but also for identifying non-verbal manifestations that are not recorded in the protocol of the investigative action yet they show the investigator whether the interrogated person is involved in the crime or not.
