On legal support of the security of lineup fillers who participated in investigative actions

The article examines the issues of state protection to participants in criminal proceedings and its extension not only to a fixed scope of subjects, but also to those who are involved in the criminal process, without having a clear procedural status. The author provides the definition of state protection, grounds and procedures for its application, classifies security measures, and analyses the current procedure for its application to participants in criminal proceedings involved in investigative actions. She considers the principal shortcomings in this legal institution and proposes the ways to solve the problem.
