Topic of space exploration in the Soviet and American cultures a global media text
In this paper an example of space development in 1950-90's. discusses the features of the mentality of U.S. citizens and the Soviet people as representatives of different national traditions. We study the main features of the ideas of "the exploration of outer space" in the American and Soviet film into those years. The phenomenon of "building a paradise", which is characteristic for the Russian tradition, as well as the transfer of this phenomenon on the topic of human exploration of the universe. We draw parallels with the understanding of the theme of space exploration in the American culture. It is proposed primary analysis of this topic in the mental space of the Soviet Union and the United States, based on which the conclusion of the two different models of understanding of human behavior in the world of men in these two ethnic groups.
