What affects satisfaction labor of modern library worker? (based on research)

The article presents the first results of the study of adaptation and job satisfaction of employees SPSTL, Tomsk Regional Universal Scientific Library, Pushkin and Novosibirsk State Regional Scientific Library. It was established that traces the influence of age psychology on organizational psychology. Identified the most important from the point of view of the respondents, the factors influencing job satisfaction. There is a slight discrepancy between the libraries, but the main named: wages, relationships with colleagues, a variety of work, the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities. Assessing the impact of groups of factors on job satisfaction, librarians chose almost the same top three: professional, technological and economic factors (grades are slightly different). In addition, most librarians considers processes by which they are engaged, it is difficult. Analyzing the above results, it is necessary to take into account that in all the libraries, most respondents had to work by accident, by coincidence, that is, initially people were not focused on the profession, its professional features, values and traditions. Most librarians who participated in the study believe that they need regular improvement of professional knowledge, but prefer to use for this a few different ways. Analyzing the results obtained in terms of the above theories of job satisfaction, it can be concluded that the motivational component of the studied parameter slightly higher in NGONB. This means that the ongoing work in the library with the staff a little more effective than TOUNB and SPSTL. The major groups of factors affecting job satisfaction in modern library are now professional technological and economic groups of factors. This result differs from the results of research in SPSTL on the problem under study, conducted in the period of 1960-1980. Then librarians in the first place put the degree of independence in the work and the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities, the second - leadership style library (unfortunately, we compare the results to other libraries is not possible due to lack of data). In our opinion, these changes are mediated transformation taking place in Russian society and in libraries - a complication of library processes, introduction of new technologies, the use of new technology, the complexity of the economic situation in the country. Another resulting conclusion on job satisfaction in the studied libraries substantially affects psychology, rather than the motivation to work.
