Role of the Orthodox faith in development and economic development of Siberia XVII - early ХХ centuries

The article is devoted to the history the economic development of Siberia in the pre-revolutionary period, and based on the analysis of various social groups. They are the Cossacks, peasants, nobles and officials, merchants and commoners (intelligent people of various ranks, not noble origin). Here is characterized the main features of the mentality of these classes and the official orthodoxy influence on them. In this paper, we can see some conclusions about the various features of the socio-psychological structure and the lack of common interests, which led finally to a social catastrophe.
